James Darrell Bowlin, 66, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, went home to be with his Lord Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012.

He was a well-respected owner of Darrell’s Stump Grinding before his retirement. He was a faithful member of Big Spring United Methodist Church and an avid golfer.

He is survived by Judy Phillips Bowlin, his wife of 46 years; his daughter and son-in-law, Alecia and Bill Hagberg; daughter and son-in-law, Brittney and Matthew Hamilton; grandchildren: Ben Hagberg, Madelyn Hagberg, Maryellen Hagberg, Clark Hamilton and Adra Hamilton; brothers: Glenn Bowlin, Buddy Bowlin and Terry Bowlin; and many extended family members, golf friends, business associates and church family.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Lyle White officiating.

Interment will follow in Red Hill Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
