Danny H. Owens, 68, formerly of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, in Massillon, Ohio. He was employed with Process Typing as a sanitary pipe-fitter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, R.B. and Lorenah Owens of Cleveland.

Survivors include his wife, Joye Owens, formerly of Cleveland; one sister, Judy Caldwell of Cleveland; three daughters: Tina Maples and husband, Don Jr., of Cleveland, Samantha Tilley of Tulsa, Okla., Penny Nelson and husband, Don, of Stuart, Va.; two sons: Richard B. Owens of Chattanooga and Robbie Newberry and wife, Mary Dawn, of Murfreesboro; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one stepson, Tony Wilson; one stepdaughter, Tina Jester; six stepgrandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 6 p.m. today, Aug. 13, 2012, in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Higgins officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 this evening at the funeral home prior to the service.
