He was a resident of Bradley County for the past 20 years. He was a baptized and confirmed Catholic. He was a self-employed carpenter whose hobbies included cooking, camping and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Casias.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Stanley Casias, of Charleston; parents, Benjamin and Isabel Marie Casias Sr. of Boone, Colo.; four children: Nicole Casias of Denver, Jessica Stanley and Benjamin Casias III, both of Cleveland, and Charlie Casias of Charleston; five grandchildren: Angel, Serena, Louis, Maddie and Dani; siblings: Judy Peasley, Susan Ingraham, Charlene Ruble, Cathy Bickle, Bernadette Serrano, Phillip Casias, Phyllis Black and Carmella Montalvo; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Jamison Work officiating.
A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
A private inurnment will be in Center Point Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
