Helen Louise Brown, 81, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 14, 2012, in a Chattanooga hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Hattie Bruce Shore and Jonas Shore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Brown; and her brother, Gerald Shore.

She and her husband owned and operated B&B Trucking for a number of years. She was also a seamstress, working for Faye Swafford Originals and Cleveland Chair. She also enjoyed sewing for her family and friends. She loved working in her yard and especially taking care of her roses.

She was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include her daughters: Susan Sullivan and her husband, Barry, and Louise Cincotta and her husband, Eric, all of Cleveland; her grandchildren: Jessica Taylor Sullivan, Michael Sullivan and Cody Sullivan; and her caregivers: Jewell Sayne, Ginger Pattillo and Tony NeSmith, all of Cleveland.

The Remembrance of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16. 2012, from the Wildwood Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Lamar Moore officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Tony NeSmith, Robbie NeSmith, Tim Taylor, Cody Sullivan, Michael Sullivan and David Gonzales serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Billy Ray NeSmith.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 this evening at the funeral home.
