A native of Worcester, Mass., she taught sixth grade in the Cleveland City Schools for 17 years from 1970-1987, at which time she and her husband retired to Venice.
She is survived by her husband, Bill, of Venice; daughter, Jan, of San Antonio; son, Chip of Malden, Mass; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She wanted no ceremony as cremation was planned.
