She was a former employee of North Lee Elementary School and Holiday Hill Restaurant. Sis attended Fourth Street Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Sneed; children: Elizabeth Sneed, Danny Sneed and Ronnie Curtis; parents, Richard and Reatha Myers; brothers: Cleve Myers, John Myers, Jim Myers and Herman “Squeaky” Myers; and sisters: Judy Gilbert and Vivian Brown.
She is survived by her children: Larry Sneed of Cleveland, Gary Sneed and wife, Donna, of Ooltewah and Robert Sneed and wife, Debbie, of Cleveland; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Susie Satterfield of Cleveland; brothers: Bob Myers, Wayne Myers and Eugene Myers, all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Henderson and the Rev. Frank Ellis officiating.
Interment will follow in Earls Cemetery with her nephews: Franklin Myers, Kevin Myers, Jerry Cavett, Tim Myers, Rick Myers, Billy Don Myers, Tommy Myers and Dennis Cavett serving as pallbearers.
A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
Her family will receive friends from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
