The bride is the daughter of Charlie and Cathy Smith of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of Henry and Linda Longley of Cleveland and the late Ernest and Constance Smith.
The bridegroom is the son of Jim and Mary Beth Gibson of Cleveland. He is the grandson of Berta Gibson of Cleveland, the late James Gibson and the late Bill and Peggy Eades.
The wedding was officiated by the father of the bridegroom, pastor at First Baptist Church.
Nuptial music was presented by musicians Jack Clark, piano, and John McCluskey, saxophone; and vocalists Sherri Riggs and David Goodwill.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Megan Smith of Cleveland, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Zoie Atchley of Cleveland, the bridegroom’s sisters Jami Gibson and Jill Gibson, both of Cleveland, the bridegroom’s sister Julie McCluskey of Lexington, Ky., Lindsey Moore of Cleveland and Danielle Sherfy of Cookeville. Lilly Darlington of Apopka, Fla., was her flower girl.
The bridegroom’s brother, Josh Gibson of Nashville, served him as best man. Groomsmen included Tyson Black and Trae Cody, both of Cleveland, his brother-in-law Jared Erwin, brother Jake Gibson and Nathan Kiser, all of Cleveland, and brother-in-law John McCluskey of Lexington, Ky. Ushers were the bridegroom’s brother Jay Gibson and Bryson Riggs, both of Cleveland. Junior usher was Jackson Gibson of Cleveland, the bridegroom’s brother.
The parents of the bride gave the reception at Black Fox Farms. The bride’s cousins, Caitlin Lay and Lauren Lay, attended the bride’s book.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple is at home in Cleveland.
