The Refuge Community Centre is offering several literacy classes for the community.

The Refuge’s mission is to offer “access to resources, information and opportunity so those who find themselves in difficult economic and social situations may move from need to sustainability.”

The series of classes are in CPR, financial literacy and prenatal literacy.

The CPR certification class is planned for Sept. 6, 6 p.m.

The financial literacy session will be held on Sept. 20 and 11, 5:30 p.m.

The prenatal literacy session will be Oct. 1 and 2, 6 p.m.

All of the workshops will be held at the center, which is located at 1075 Blythe Ave. S.E., Suite 8.
