She was of the Episcopal faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Avery Reed; parents, Mary Lee and William Ralph Lowe Sr.; son, Ralph Reed; and brothers: Dan Lowe and Bill Lowe.
Survivors include three children: Delores Babb of Cleveland, James B. Reed of Maddox, Md., and Tina Kurtz of Nashville; five grandchildren; and one sister, Nancy George of Cleveland.
The funeral will be conducted Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Lamar Beasley officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony.
His family will receive friends Thursday, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
