BASKETBALL
Youth Basketball League
The Cleveland Family YMCA is currently taking registrations through Nov. 10 for its Youth Basketball League. The season will begin on Dec. 8. Evaluation will be held Nov. 3 and Nov. 10. Times for grade division are as follows: Kindergarten 9 -10 a.m. First grade 10-11 a.m. Second and third grade 11 a.m. until noon. Fourth and fifth grade noon until -1 p.m. and sixth and eighth grade 1-2 p.m.. Players are required to attend one of the two evaluation dates in order to play. BASKETBALL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
The Cleveland Family YMCA is seeking individuals interested in volunteering for the Youth Basketball Program. RAIDER CLUB SEASON PASSES
Cleveland High School’s athletic department is currently offering Raider Club Season Passes for all home athletic events during the entire 2012-13 school year. The Student Pass is $75, while an Adult Pass, for general admission seating is $100. A Family Pass for two adults and up to three children is available for $175, while an Upgraded Family Pass, with two reserve seats for the adults for the home football games is $225. DANETTE HENRY MEMORIAL
The Danette Henry Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Sept. 22 at Chatata Valley. Registration and lunch begin a 11 a.m. and play will begin at 1 p.m. The format is four-person, select shot. Proceeds will go to benefit the Danette Henry Ovarian Cancer Fund at Memorial Health Care Systems Foundation. The cost is $300 per team or $75 for individuals. BECKY SMITH MEMORIAL
The Becky Cooke Smith Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Sept. 24 at Cleveland Country Club. Proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation, The Becky Cooke Smith Scholarship Fund at UTC, and the Brenda Davis Foundation of Cleveland. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place teams and prizes awarded for “Closest to the Pin” and “Longest Drive” for both men and women. There will also be hole-in-one competitions for a chance to win a car and one for a chance to win $10,000.
BRADLEY WRESTLING FAMILY GOLF EVENT
The second annual Bradley Central Wrestling Family, Friends and Alumni Golf Tournament will be held Oct. 13 at the Cleveland Country Club. The four-person scramble will tee off at 1 p.m. with registration beginning at noon and a catered lunch provided beforehand. Entry fee is $400 per team or $100 per person. Entry fees are due by Oct. 6 or can be paid the day of tournament if prior reservations are made. Cash prizes, a gas grill give away, plus other prize drawings will be handed out. CCC FALL CLASSIC
The Cleveland Country Club Fall Tennis Classic will be held Oct. 5-7. The tournamentis open to all junior tennis players 18 and under.
