THE 2012 CAPTIVATING FASHION SHOW, a red carpet event, will be Sept. 29 at 11 a.m. at Lee University’s Dixon’s Center. All of the name-brand outfits and voguish shoes are from secondhand stores. All of the proceeds will go to Mercy’s Door Children’s Home. After the show, the clothing items will be sold — just like a real New York Fashion Show!
Bestselling author Mark Gimenez will be this year’s Friends of the Library Fall Luncheon and Evening Event speaker on Oct. 16 and 18. FOLA has planned several events for the community to meet and to hear Gimenez talk about his books, writing and publishing.
