Jennifer Anderson Cavitt, 35, wife of Adam Vincent Cavitt, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, unexpectedly at her grandmother’s home in Marion, S.C.

She, a lover of all animals, was born Oct. 2, 1976, in Greenville, S.C., a daughter of Andy and Laura Sims Anderson.

She had worked as a social worker in various locations, specializing in child care.

She was a graduate of Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, S.C., and a graduate of Lee University. She was a member of Mount Olive Ministries in Cleveland.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her parents: Andy and Laura Sims Anderson of Cleveland; a son, Jaxson Adam Cavitt of Cleveland; a sister, Sondra Nicole (Chris) Chambers of Elgin, S.C.; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Heath (Joelle) Cavitt of Cleveland; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Max and Sherry Cavitt of Cleveland; maternal grandmother, Mary Lou Sims of Greenville, S.C.; and six nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jessie and Bertha Anderson; and her maternal grandfather, James Monroe Sims.

A memorial service has beententatively set for Friday, Sept. 14, at Mount Olive Ministries.

The time of the service will be announced later.
