William L. “Bill” Pritchett, 77, of Cleveland, passed away early Friday morning, Sept. 7, 2012, in a local hospital.

He was the son of the late Lola Clayton Pritchett and John W. Pritchett.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army.

He worked in maintenance most of his life and he retired from the Bradley HealthCare and Rehab Center.

He was an avid sports fan especially football and he enjoyed shooting pool.

He was a member of the Cleveland Christian Fellowship Church.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Owenby Pritchett of Cleveland; his sister, Patsy King and her husband, Kenneth; his brother, Larry Pritchett and his wife, Martha, all of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Betty Bryant of Cleveland; brothers-in-law: Carl Owenby and his wife, Dorthea, of Maryville, and Robert Owenby and his wife, Betsy, of Cleveland; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Remembrance of Life service will be conducted Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at 2 p.m. from the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Herbert Conley officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
