He had been employed at Walmart for the past 15 years.
He was a graduate of Bradley Central High School, class of 1996. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helena Harvey Sartin; grandparents: Joseph C. and Ruby Harvey and Felmer and Roselle Sartin; and niece, Sophie Ethridge.
Survivors include his fiancée, Bethany Garrison; father, Neil Sartin of Cleveland; sister, Rachel Ethridge and her husband, Eric; brother, Jonathan Sartin; nieces: Jessica Sartin, Leah Ethridge, Rena Ethridge and Carrie Hannah; nephew, Eli Ethridge; aunts and uncles: Bruce and Norma Ritchey, Steve Harvey and Ginger Starnes; and cousins: Bob and Melissa Lewis, Kenneth Starnes II, and Sara and Matt Friedt, Jody Harvey, Scott Harvey, Dylan Harvey and Lauren Harvey.
A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, in Candies Creek Cemetery with Pastor Ray Cheatham officiating.
Jonathan Sartin, Eric Ethridge, Scott Harvey, Chris Johnson, Josh Longwith and Kenneth Starnes will serve as pallbearers.
A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 this evening and on Friday from noon to 3 p.m. at Fike Funeral Home.
