Jennifer Anderson Cavitt, 35, died unexpectedly at her grandmother’s home in Marion, S.C., Friday, Sept. 7, 2012.
She was a lover of all animals, and was born Oct, 2, 1976, in Greenville, S.C.,
She had worked as a social worker in various locations, specializing in child care. She was a graduate of Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, S.C., and a graduate of Lee University in Cleveland. She was a member of Mount Olive Ministries in Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Jessie and Bertha Anderson; and her maternal grandfather, James Monroe Sims.
Survivors include her husband, Adam Vincent Cavitt of the home: her parents, Andy and Laura Sims Anderson of Cleveland; son, Jaxson Adam Cavitt of Cleveland; sister, Sondra Nicole (Chris) Chambers of Elgin, S.C.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Heath (Joelle) Cavitt of Cleveland; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Max and Sherry Cavitt of Cleveland; maternal grandmother, Mary Lou Sims of Greenville, S.C.; and six nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at Mount Olive Ministries in Cleveland.
The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
Smith-Collins Funeral Home, Inc. in Marion, S.C., was in charge of arrangements.
