Diana Stone, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, Sept.12, 2012.
A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and Cleveland area, she was the daughter of the late R.L. and June Tinsley.
She was a prominent employee of Maytag Corp. for 21 years where she was supervisor over Consumer Affairs.
She was a huge mentor to many people throughout her life and made a huge impact on everyone she came in contact with.
She was a member of Unity of Chattanooga and was loved and cherished by the people of Cleveland and Chattanooga. She died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Stone; two daughters: Angela Lauderdale (Paul) and Burt and Celia (Chris) Lee; son, Paul (Erin) Stone; four grandchildren: Bronwen Lee, Noah Lee, Lander Stone and Anne Stone; brother, David Tinsley; two sisters: Donna Mason and Dawn King; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday and 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
