Lee University Evangelistic Singers, a 44-member ensemble, will be at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 3430 Blair Road, on Sunday, Sept. 23.

The will be singing during the 11 a.m. service to help celebrate the church mortgage burning ceremony.

Evangelistic Singers sing with a desire to worship in “spirit and in truth.”

The young people sing with a fervor and zeal that expresses itself in high praise. Expressing their love for the Lord and recognizing His majesty is done with freedom and great joy. Voices and instruments are lifted in praise with the primary focus of giving glory to the Lord.

EVS is a diverse group of students who have been called to Lee University to study a variety of academic disciplines.

Emerging from an evangelistic preaching ministry in 1969, EVS has used the vehicle of song to maintain the emphasis of allowing God’s power to break every yoke with His anointing. EVS has a strong heritage of traditional and contemporary black gospel music as well as African-American spirituals.

The choir has ministered extensively throughout the Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, Jamaica, U.S. and British Virgin Islands, and most of the United States.

The public is cordially invited to attend this gathering of music and worship.
