The dinner will be served at 5 p.m. and the service will begin at 6 p.m.
The Rev. Joe Green, new superintendent of the Cleve-land District of the United Methodist Curch, will be speaking.
A native of Virginia, Green has served nearly four decades as pastor of the Holston conference of the United Methodist Church. He was appointed Cleveland District superintendent in June.
The campmeeting at Spring Creek, near Calhoun, was first organized in 1820. Efforts have been made to keep the rich heritage for almost 165 years.
The public is invited ot bring a lawn chair, a good appetite and a desire for good old-fashioned fellowship, soul stirring singing and life-changing preaching.
The camp is located 15 miles north of Cleveland at exit 36 off Interstate 75. Go to County Road 2, follow to County Road 36 to the camp on left.
