Lifetime Fitness classes at First United Methodist Church, 3425 N. Ocoee St., are held each Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 1 p.m. for five weeks. The Classic Comedy Movie this month at the library will be “Road to Morocco,” starring Bob Hope and Bing Crosby, on Thursday at 7 p.m. Freshly popped popcorn is available at this free family event each month.

The Living Well with Chronic Conditions six-week classes begin on Thursday, and continue Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25 and Nov. 1 at the UT Extension-Bradley County Building, 95 Church St. S.E. Cleveland. THE 2012 CAPTIVATING FASHION SHOW, a red carpet event, will be Sept. 29 at 11 a.m. at Lee University’s Dixon’s Center. All of the name-brand outfits and voguish shoes are from secondhand stores. The models are local people from the community. Tickets can be purchased at or by calling 309-8346. General admission is $15 and VIP admission is $35. All of the proceeds will go to Mercy’s Door Children’s Home. After the show, the clothing items will be sold — just like a real New York Fashion Show!
