According to a report filed by deputy Ben Clayton, Chantel L. McCoy, 21, and James C. Fox, 57, were charged with simple possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Clayton made a traffic stop after he couldn’t read the temporary license tag on the black Ford Taurus in which the two were travelling.
According to his report, Clayton noticed what he believed was a bag of synthetic marijuana under Fox’s leg.
After detaining Fox, Clayton discovered a glass pipe inside the car and two additional bags of “Bizarro” synthetic marijuana as well as a small amount of suspected organic marijuana.
Both were taken into custody and transported to the Bradley County Jail where they were booked on the charges.

A report filed by deputy Sam Long noted Harry W. Raynor, 41, of Pelham, N.C., was charged with simple possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Long was on Interstate 75 when he noticed an erratic driver.
His report noted after the traffic stop, Raynor appeared “very nervous.”
Long asked consent to search Raynor’s vehicle and found a small bag of suspected marijuana and rolling papers.
Raynor’s North Carolina drivers license was also found to be suspended.
He was placed under arrest and transported to the Bradley County Jail for booking.
