She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Zelma Holmes Thompson; and brother, Howard Holmes.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Daisy Thompson; two sisters: Sue Root and Glenda “Jewel” Walker; granddaughter, Monica Thompson; great-granddaughter, Sydney Summer Grace Holdsman; and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be in Living Waters P.C.G. today, Oct. 5, 2012, from 5 to 8 and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Rev. Ronnie Kessler will conduct the service at 1 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in Lee Cemetery.
