The children’s librarian will be happy to accommodate groups for tours of the library. Those interested can request a group program on the library’s website or call Keisha Parks at 472-2163 ext.124 to arrange a tour.

The Cleveland Storytelling Guild will have its monthly meeting Oct. 9 in the Cleveland Bradley Community Room at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public so members of the community can hear the stories members tell.

The Tweens will be meeting for their regular monthly activities this week. Tween Zone Creations will be on Oct. 11 at 4:30 p.m., and the Monthly Movie Matinee will be showing “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” at 11 a.m.

Tweens have been working on Lego projects for a couple of months and will be showing off their creations during Lego Weekend Nov. 3 and 4 in the Community Room. Besides their creations, other activities are planned for children and adults, and Star Wars characters will be attending as well.

There is still time to purchase tickets to the Fall Author Luncheon on Oct. 16 at First Baptist Church featuring Dallas attorney and New York Times Best Selling author Mark Gimenez. Ticket reservations are available at the Circulation Desk. There will also be a book review and signing with author Gimenez at the Museum Center at Five Points Oct. 18 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
