He was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his loving companion for 24 years, Wilba Dean Taylor, of Cleveland; children: Craig Runyon, Tammy Rice and Brent Runyon, all of Cleveland; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one brother.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today, Oct. 8, 2012, in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastors Gary Sears and Tazz Reid officiating.
Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery with military honors.
