She was the daughter of the late Harmon Chastain and Mattie Sprouse Chastain.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Green, and was a lifelong resident of Bradley County.
She was retired after 28 years with Westvaco. She was a member of the Beacon Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters: Rosetta Lumley and her husband, Howard, of Cleveland, Shirley Crumley and her husband, Tony, who was a special caregiver to Lillie Mae Green; son, Ron Green and his wife, Kay, of Cleveland, two granddaughters: Tonya Malone and her husband, Ed and Karen Coley, all of Cleveland; great-grandchildren: Nathaniel Malone, Riley Cheek and Anna Driggans, all of Cleveland; brother, Floyd Chastain of Cleveland; and nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at Beacon Baptist Church, with the Rev. Floyd Boggess and the Rev. Larry Chastain officiating.
Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 this evening at the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes.
