CSCC CLINIC
Cleveland State Community College Men's Basketball Coach Lee Cigliano and Silverdale Academy Coach Randy Evans will conduct a youth Basketball Skills Clinics for boys and girls in the first through eighth grades Oct. 27 in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium on the campus of Cleveland State. The Clinic will be from 10 a.m until 1 p.m. The cost will be $35. There is a $10 discount for two or more siblings attending. The Clinic will focus on fundamental and team concepts as well as instruction on proper shooting form, ball handling and defense. CCC YOUTH BASKETBALL SIGN UPS
The Clevleand Communtiy Center is having registration for their basketball leagues for boys and girls ages 7-12. Anyone interested in playing of putting a team in the league should contact the Center at 559-3322. The fee is $20 per child. Registration will run through Nov. 20.
YMCA Youth Basketball League
The Cleveland Family YMCA is currently taking registrations through Nov. 10 for its Youth Basketball League. The season will begin on Dec. 8. Evaluation will be held Nov. 3 and Nov. 10. Times for grade division are as follows: Kindergarten 9 -10 a.m. First grade 10-11 a.m. Second and third grade 11 a.m. until noon. Fourth and fifth grade noon until -1 p.m. and sixth and eighth grade 1-2 p.m.. Players are required to attend one of the two evaluation dates in order to play.
