The Greater Cleveland Community Bands under the direction of Donald Bindrim will once again perform the Christmas classic, “Home for Christmas, a Veterans Story” on Nov. 13 at First Baptist Church.

Currently in final rehearsals, the program features letters to family and friends at the home front and from the war front. It’s an inspirational and moving history of the American soldier missing his family during the season of love, faith, sharing and giving, as they fight for our freedoms during a time of despair, pain and anguish.

At the end, you’ll listen to a new letter be written that will renew your patriotism and your faith this Christmas season.

Mark your calendar for Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church on Stuart Road, to join the Community Concert Band, Stage Band, Cleveland State’s Vocal Rhapsody directed by Karen Dale, and members of Lee University’s Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble, as they present another performance of pride.
