Life Care Center of Cleveland recently took lunches to first responders in the Cleveland and Bradley County community. “We wanted to show our appreciation to our firefighters and EMS workers,” said Annette Smith, marketing director. “We appreciate these men and women for all they do and the sacrifices they and their families make for us.” Smith and Phila Goins, marketing director for Garden Plaza at Cleveland, delivered lunches to firemen at five different stations and three battalions from Aug. 21-23. On Sept. 19, Smith and Carrie Wooten, leasing counselor for Garden Plaza, made the rounds to Bradley County EMS for all three shifts. “They seemed happy to get lunch,” said Smith. “Some were eagerly waiting outside for us and helped carry the food in.” Life Care Center of Cleveland, located at 3530 Keith St., N.W., is one of 25 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Tennessee operated or managed by Life Care Centers of America.
