The San Paulo, Brazil, native racked up three straight double-doubles against Georgetown (Ky.), Taylor and (No. 8) Indiana Wesleyan at the Boneyard Brawl, hosted by Georgetown College.
For the week Ojukwu had 75 kills, 52 digs, four aces and nine blocks in helping guide the Lady Flames to a 3-2 mark overall.
Ojukwu and the Lady Flames will wrap up the regular season this week. Tuesday they travel to Cleveland, Ga., to take on Truett-McConnell. On Friday they come back home for their annual "Volley for the Cure" match, hosting Coastal Georgia at 7 p.m.
Lee goalkeeper Tom Halsall was awarded SSAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honors.
The freshman from Manchester, England, was instrumental in guiding the Flames to two must-win victories this past week, securing the eighth and final spot in the conference tournament.
In Wednesday's match against Truett-McConnell, Halsall recorded three saves and allowed just one goal in the Flames’ 4-1 victory.
Saturday's "win or go home" contest with No. 12 Southern Polytechnic State University saw Halsall register four saves to help preserve the 1-0 shutout.
Halsall is the first Lee men's soccer player to receive player of the week honors this year. His stellar play couldn't have come at a better time for the Flames as they kept their season alive.
