He was born in Cleveland, to the late Emma Bell Tucker.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Jessie Tucker Davis; his nephew, Truman J. Tucker; and his niece, Willa Dean Dunn.
Survivors include his sons: Tony Tucker of Detroit, Mich., and Bob Smith of Cleveland; his sister, Grace Tucker of Cleveland; nephews: Greg Davis of Oklahoma, Wadie Davis Jr., Paul Davis and Fredrick Pitner, all of Cleveland; nieces: Charlotte Timberlake, Wilhelmena Scott, Joann Davis and Marie Tucker, all of Cleveland; 27 great-nieces; 47 great-nephews; three great- grandnieces; and other relatives and friends.
The body may be viewed Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair St.
The family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, from noon to 1 p.m. service time at the Church of God Sanctified, 746 First St. N.E. Bishop Guilford Hill will be the eulogist.
Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.
