Due to a change in format, the Bradley Central football broadcasts have been switched to WBAC-AM 1340 for the playoffs.

With the East Tennessee Radio Group switching WQMT 93.9-FM to all Hispanic programing, the Bears have been move back to their original home of WBAC-AM 1340 for the remainder of the football playoffs, as well as the upcoming basketball season.

Longtime announcer Corky Whitlock began broadcasting Bradley sports on WBAC in 1961 and will return to that station along with broadcasting partner Gary Ownbey for this week’s TSSAA playoff opener between the Bears and rival McMinn County.

The game is being played in Athens with a kickoff time of 7 p.m. Friday evening.
