Horne was born blind. He attended a school for the blind for three years. At the age of 10 1/2, he accepted the Lord Jesus. People at the church prayed for his eyes and he was healed. He has had 20/20 vision since that time.
For 56 years, Horne pastored in Virginia, Kentucky, West Virginia, Alabama and Michigan. He was district pastor for 26 of those years. He was a radio speaker for four years speaking four time a day.
Horne is also an accomplished guitarist.
He is married to Ruth Horne and they reside in Cleveland.
The service will begin at 6 p.m., according to Pastor W.C. Vaughan.
