Darryl Lorenzo Pugh passed away at a Chattanooga hospital, Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012.
He was a resident of Cleveland and a member of Christian Fellowship Center and Outreach Ministries of Cleveland under the leadership of Pastor Martha Tibbs.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, DeRosette Pugh; great-grandmother, Altha Pugh Peters; mother, Hazel Pugh; and brothers: Eldric L. Pugh, David Ware and Milton Hall.
He was a former employee of Coca-Cola Enterprises and the owner of Unique Travel. He was a graduate of the class of 1981 at Cleveland High School. He enjoyed travel, cooking, music, and the X-Box.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife, Valerie Henry Pugh of Cleveland; daughters, Bashiri and Sierra Arnold; and father, Simon Ware, all of Cleveland; sisters: Patricia (Terry) Cook of Ohio, Ruth Ellen Cox and Connie Ware, both of Cleveland; brothers: Maurice (Patsy) Pugh, Vincent (Nikki) Hall, Ivan (Sherry) Ware, Anthony Hall and Bob Ware, all of Cleveland, Nate (Ivy) Ware of North Carolina; aunts: Linda Pugh of Cleveland, Teresa (Tony) Baskerville of Virginia; uncles: Willie Gene, Alphonso (Octavia), both of Cleveland, Adolph (Judy) Pugh of Texas, Derrick (Carla) Tillery of Ohio; brother-in-law, John McDonald of Cleveland; sisters-in-law, April (Gary) Matthews of Cleveland, and Sherry (Dale) Richesin of Sweetwater; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; special friends: Barry Parker, Walter Rogers, Chalmer McDermott, Brian Howard, Minister Don Tibbs, Pastor Tim Purifory, Mark Jones, J.W. Sharp; and many other relatives and friends.
The body may be viewed at the Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair Street, Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 11 from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m service time at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, East Inman Street with the Rev. Edward S. Robinson officiating. Pastor Martha Tibbs of Christian Fellowship Center and Outreach Ministries of Cleveland will be the eulogist.
Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.
