Esther Marie Dehner, 83, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, in a local health care facility.
She was the daughter of the late John T. Dehner and Mary L. Henry Dehner. She was also preceded in death by her brother, the Rev. David L. Dehner; and two sisters: Sarah Brewster and Priscilla Bingham.
She had lived with her parents all of her life until her mother passed away, and then she lived with her brother and his wife in Lynch, Ky., and Covington, Ky., before moving to Cleveland.
She taught Sunday school and enjoyed singing in her family trio and sharing her beautiful soprano voice, and was a member of Westmore Church of God. She was a very loving and caring aunt to all of her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She is survived by three brothers: the Rev. Paul H. Dehner and his wife, Lehana, of Campbellsville, Ky., William Dehner and his wife, Audrey, of Lexington, Ky., and James Dehner and his wife, Rita, of Erlanger, Ky.; sister-in-law, Elain Dehner McClain of Cleveland; cousin, Belinda G. Jump of Cleveland; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes.
Interment and graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, Ky.
