Fun arts and craft projects as well as interactive games complimented the books.

There were 175 students and family members who participated celebrated. Volunteers from the Interact and Beta Clubs at Cleveland High School and Lee University education department facilitated many of the craft projects and games.

Fifthth grader, Magaly G. Hernandez, won a signed football by Alabama coach, Nick Sabin for a creative writing article she wrote during the “We Are the One” family night.

A Cake decorating contest was included in the family picnic and winners were:

Prettiest cake: Schonna Goins

Most Original cake: Noel Coleman.
