Karen Yvett Neal, 50, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at a hospital in Chattanooga.

She was employed at Jack’s Kleen Rite for more than 20 years.

She accepted Christ at a small church in Ooltewah. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ebony Smith; and brother, Chad Smith.

Survivors include her husband, John Neal of Cleveland; four sons: Carrie Neal, Jeron Smith and Zydarius Moore, all of Cleveland and Tony Roach of Philadelphia, Tenn.; four daughters: Karen (Steven) Herman, Angel Roach, and Glanice Roach, all of Philadelphia and Courtney Neal of Cleveland; stepchildren: Johneil Rogers of Chattanooga, Jonathan Smith of Knoxville and Debraill Parks of Georgetown; eight grandchildren; five sisters: Tammie D. Shuford , Cathy Baliles, Lavonda Armstrong and Stephanie (Harvey) Blair, all of Cleveland and Wynette King of California; brothers: Avis (Francine) Moore of Cleveland and Shawn McCroskey of Athens; uncles: Johnny Harrison and Perry Bowerman, both of Cleveland; aunt, Olivia Dyer, Carol Looney, Willie Sue Bradford, Catherine Orine Ball and Naomi Bobbie Moore, all of Cleveland; brother-in-law, Keith Barbie of Cleveland; and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Cleveland with the Rev. Alfred Johnson officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.

Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.

The visitation by friends will begin after noon Friday at M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home
