He is survived by his children: Diane Keeler, Jeffrey Jones, Duncan Jones, Tim Jones and Jessie Jones; brothers: Bud Jones and Troy Jones; sisters: Jearline Ellis, Susie Wilcox and Stella Floyd; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and seven step-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. today, Nov. 15, 2012, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Revs. Charles Moore and Chad Maxwell officiating.
Interment will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
