Brenda N. Lovingood, 65, a resident of Cleveland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday night, Nov.17, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family after a brave and courageous battle with cancer.

She was a lifelong resident of Cleveland. She was born on Nov. 11, 1947, a daughter of the late Taylor and Inez Davis.

She was a member of the Waterville Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for many years.

She owned and operated her own hair salon for more than 46 years.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Austin and two brothers, Robert Davis and Garland Davis.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 30 years, Ron; two daughters, Leslie Mason and husband, Justin, and Robin Eaves; stepdaughter, Jennifer Maxwell and husband, Robert; seven grandchildren: Lauren, Spencer Mason, Olivia Mason and Rob, Bresney, Nathinel, and Koty Pendergraft; a special cousin, Dean Webb of Athens; special niece, Denise Bandy of Port Orange, Fla.; and several other extended family members and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at the Waterville Baptist Church, 4555 Dalton Pike SE, Cleveland, TN 37323, with the Rev. Allan Lovelace officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service at the church. Interment will be Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Bryan Davis, Cody Eaves, Greg Kersey, Devin Kersey, Ryan Boothe, and Joe Walker serving as pallbearers.

A white dove release will conclude the committal service.
