All the weekend shopping has sharpened youngsters’ thoughts of Christmas and the presents they will find under the Christmas tree.

To help kids let their wishes be known, Santa Claus has opened a letter-drop box at the Cleveland Daily Banner.

Youngsters (12 and under) will be able to share their holiday wish list by writing a letter to Santa. The letters will be published during the weeks before Christmas.

To ensure letters are in the Banner offices before Christmas, wish lists should be received prior to 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21.

Letters may be dropped in Santa’s Mailbox at the Banner, 1505 25th St.; mailed to Letters to Santa, Cleveland Daily Banner, P.O. Box 3600, Cleveland TN 37320-3600; or emailed to gwen.swiger@clevelandbanner.com with “Santa letter” in the subject line.
