Two storage buildings located at a Spring Place Road address were broken into and a number of items taken.
According to a report filed by deputy Adam Ensley of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, he responded to 3222 Spring Place Road and spoke with James Holt.
Holt told the deputy the buildings where he had stored a window air conditioner, an HVAC system, metal racks, shelving and electrical wire had not been used in several years. The buildings were once a business.
According to the report, the items could have been taken several months ago. The theft was reported Wednesday
The missing items were valued at $1,550.
- An employee of Merck reported someone possibly entered her car while it was parked at the business and took her wallet.
Nancy Bohannon told deputy Daniel Marlow she wasn’t sure whether the theft occurred at Merck or at her home.
Inside the wallet were identification cards, credit cards and other items. No dollar amount was listed regarding loss.
- An X-Box gaming system was reportedly stolen from a Rolling Brook Drive address.
Deputy Jeremy Guthrie filed a report for Leanne Goforth.
According to his report, Goforth said she returned home and found a screen had been cut from her window.
Further investigation revealed the gaming system had been taken.
Detective Mike Hughes of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division was notified of the aggravated burglary.
Footprint evidence was collected at the scene.
The X-Box was valued at $150.
Investigation is continuing.
