The Cleveland-Athens Cotillion will hold its 50th annual Holly Ball on Dec. 28 at the Cleveland Country Club.

Three young ladies will be presented at the Holly Ball. The 2012 debutantes are:

— Kelsey Holcombe Cantrell, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hugh Cantrell. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas Hopper of Smyrna, Robert Lee Cantrell of Cleveland and the late Mrs. Cantrell. Miss Cantrell is a graduate of Cleveland High School and attends The University of Tennessee.

— Rachael Blair Jackson, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Stephen William Jackson of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Carl A. Maierle of Cleveland, the late Mr. Maierle, Mrs. Steve Jackson of Cleveland and the late Mr. Jackson. Miss Jackson is a graduate of Cleveland High School and attends The University of Tennessee.

Catherine Carter Jordan, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Mitchell Carter Jordan. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Hilard E. Whitlock and the late Dr. Whitlock of Muscle Shoals, Ala., Mrs. Ralph M. Jordan Kailua, Hawaii, and the late Mr. Jordan. Miss Jordan is a graduate of Cleveland High School and attends The University of Tennessee.

William Raymond Barr has been chosen by the Cleveland-Athens Cotillion board as master of ceremonies for the event. A lifelong resident of Athens, Barr is a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College with a master of science degree in chemistry from the University of Tennessee. He is a member of the Tennessee Wesleyan College Athletic Hall of Fame and was selected to the TSSAA Basketball Officials Hall of Fame for Southeast Tennessee.

A former educator, Barr taught chemistry at the University of Tennessee and Hiwassee College. Raymond is married to Joetta T. Barr and together they have three beautiful daughters, all former Holly Ball debutantes: Lacey Brown, Tiffany Barr and Brittany Barr.

In 1975, he entered the business world, and in 1982, he and his wife founded United Service Associates, a product fundraising company serving the southeast. He is still active with the company, which is now headed by his daughter, Brittany.

Barr is a four-time presenter at the Holly Ball and is honored to be the 50th Anniversary Holly Ball master of ceremonies.
