Esmerelda Lee, manager of Garden Plaza, announces a book signing will be held for Wayne Heil’s book, “Complexities of My Life’s Journey — But God,” Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Atrium at Garden Plaza.

This autobiography contains the victorious and agonizing experiences of a multitalented minister who began his ministry at age seventeen in Houston, Texas, and for the next seventy-plus years crisscrossed 18 states and 62 countries. Despite several discouraging setbacks, his story chronicles a triumphant life that is rooted in the rich soil of a deep faith.

In the foreword of the book, Clyne Buxton writes: “This is indeed a splendid account. It is exceptionally well written, candid, and detailed. Once you begin to read it, you will have difficulty putting it down. It is intense, intricate, and parts of it read like a mystery novel.”

What may read like a mystery novel is indeed the author’s unfolding story.

“If this plot were a jig-saw puzzle,” Heil writes, “it would take dozens of pieces of varied sizes to make the picture complete. I started the plot with a vision and a revelation. My life has been a fabulous venture through the maze of excitement, conflict, problems, solutions, decisions, and conclusions of how I made my journey. Now I come to the end of this writing with a story that needs to be shared.”

Heil invites his friends to join him in celebrating the release of his book.
