Several burglary reports filed; drug arrest made

Forced entry was evident at the scene of a burglary on Archer Lane.

According to a report filed with the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred sometime in November.

Deputy Ken Ritenour of BCSO filed a report for Andrew Wright.

Wright said someone entered his mobile home and took a Husquvarna 150 backpack leaf blower.

The theft may have occurred between Nov. 10 and Nov. 17, according to the report.

Wright was able to provide a serial number for the lawn equipment. The blower was valued at $336.

Investigation is continuing.

Ritenour also responded to a Silver Maple Circle address where he filed an auto burglary report.

Brandon Montgomery said someone entered his Chevrolet Blazer and took an Apple iPad, a backpack and miscellaneous clothing

The theft was believed to have occurred sometime during the weekend.

According to Ritenour, the vehicle was not secured at the time of the theft.

The missing property was valued at $790.

Ritenour also filed a report for William Colbert.

Colbert said someone entered his property and took heavy equipment implements.

Two box scrapers, a 16-foot gate and a metal bin wee taken from Colbert’s barn.

According to the report, the missing items were valued at $975.

n Deputy Tim Robinson of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office arrested one person on narcotics charges.

According to his report, Robinson stopped Britanny Mullinax for an alleged speeding violation.

While speaking with Mullinax, he asked her if she had anything illegal inside her car.

Robinson said Mullinax stated that she had two glass pipes inside her purse that “she was holding for a friend.”

Mullinax also told the deputy she had “a small bag of weed in her bra.”

After a search was performed, officials located a silver container with pills inside and three straws.

Mullinax was arrested and charged with possession of Schedule II narcotics, simple possession of Schedule VI narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.
