BRADLEY CENTRAL FFA received a donation from Smith Management Company (local McDonald's Restaurants) officials recently in honor of the Bradley FFA Chapter"s National Record of 45 Consecutive Gold Emblem Ratings by the U.S. Department of Education and Superior Ratings (since 1956) by the Tennessee Department of Education. Present for the donation were, from left, BCHS FFA chapter treasurer Johnna Cartwright, BCHS FFA chapter president Lucas Brown, Paul Isom of Smith Management, general manager of human resources Smith Management Donna Robinson and BCHS FFA Chapter vice president Cody Shelton. The donation will be used by the BCHS Agriscience students to construct a hydroponics lab. The vegetables produced in the hydroponics lab by the agriscience students will be utilized in the menu of the BCHS Culinary Arts Program. This cooperative aspect of the BCHS Career Technical Education curriculum is an example of the new Entrepreneurial Academy Program being implemented at BCHS.
