He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Palmer; brother, Joe Palmer; and sisters: Linda and Brenda Palmer.
Survivors include his mother, Willa Mae Palmer of Cleveland; two children: Christopher Palmer of Cleveland and Jeffery Palmer of New York; two sisters: Sandra Hughes of Cleveland and Shirley Gates of North Carolina; four brothers: Danny Palmer and wife, Anna, of Ooltewah, Roy Palmer of Hixson, Calvin Palmer and Alvin Palmer, both of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
No services are planned at this time.
