Sylvia Ann Goodine, 55, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012.

She was born on Aug. 16, 1957, to the late Thomas Eugene Westfield and Beatrice Dunn Goodine. She was also proceeded in death by her grandparents: Lella Adair Dunn and John Thomas Dunn and Ernest and Delilah Blair Westfield; and her sisters: Wilma Goodine and Debra Bryant.

She attended Wildwood Church of God and Prophecy.

She began her education at College Hill Elementary and was a graduate of Cleveland High School. She was employed by Allied Barton Security Co. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She leaves to cherish her memories her beloved children: Dominique (Heather) Goodine, Kevin (Khalilah) Clark and Miriam (Billie) Clark, all of Cleveland; six treasured grandchildren: DeAndre DaShawn Clark, Kasey Beatrice Clark, Kaylyn Elizabeth Anne Goodine, Joseph Kyree Clark, Kendrick Dominique Goodine, and Naa’Liyah (Pretty Girl) Sarai Clark whom she loved very dearly; six loving sisters: Dorothy Stevenson of Los Angeles, Calif., ZoeAnn Goodine Cox of Cleveland, Nellie Cooper of Ringgold, Ga., Peggy Goodine of Cleveland, Mallory Westfield (Tim) Barrett of Cleveland and Thomasa Westfield of Chattanooga; six brothers: Bobby (Betty) Goodine of Kansas City, Mo., Charles Vincent Goodine, Dennis Goodine and Thomas Westfield, all of Cleveland, Theodore Westfield of Knoxville and Zacharius Westfield of Chattanooga; one aunt, Ezra (Frank) Liggett of Cleveland; countless nieces, nephews and many cousins; devoted friend, Pamela Hughes; and a special friend, Floyd Orr, along with many other friends who were blessed to know her.

A memorial service will be held at noon Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at the Wildwood Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Bishop Winston Reid officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 11 a.m. to noon at the church.
