He was an Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Jean Shubert; parents, John and Mabel Shubert; and sister, Virginia Shubert.
Survivors include his sons: Tommy Shubert and wife, Tammy, of Cleveland, Scotty Shubert and wife, Kathryn, of Georgetown, and Michael Shubert and wife, Amanda, of Cleveland; seven grandchildren; and four sisters.
The family wil receive friends Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Eastside Church of Christ.
A private service will follow at the church.
