She was born July 11, 1925, in Spencer, W.Va. She was of the Christian faith and a resident of this area for the past 20-plus years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Maroon.
She is survived by two daughters: Barbara and Bonnie; two sons: Bud and Dick; one stepdaughter, Connie Allen and husband, Cecil; three stepsons: Jerry Maroon, Frank Maroon and wife, Johnnie, and Kendall Maroon; several brothers, sisters, and numerous other extended family members and friends.
A graveside service is planned for 4 p.m. today, Jan. 6, 2013, at the Lebanon Laurel Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Russell Maroon officiating.
