Award winning singer-songwriter Greg Finch will headline the Cowboy Gospel Jubilee Friday evening.

“Greg recently won ‘Entertainer of the Year’ and the ‘Little Jimmy Dickens Lifetime Achievement/Living Legend Award’ at the Georgia/Tennessee Country Gospel Music Association awards,” said Will Nichols, producer of the free show.

“He performs more than 200 dates a year and has numerous CDs and videos.”

“I’ve written over a 100songs and played too many dates to count since embarking on a career as a Country Gospel singer-songwriter,” said Finch. “I have ministered to people in parking lots and in all kinds of places.”

The Cowboy Gospel Jubilee is held at the Cleveland Cowboy Church in the Dockery Heights community between Blue Springs and Blackburn Roads.

It features both gospel and moral-secular music performed in a variety of genres.

Also appearing on the Jubilee will be Southern gospel singer Amy McAlister, singer-songwriter Elmer Bramlett, and singer-songwriter Danny O’Boyle, as well as the Cowboy Church Band and Chorale.
