Lee University basketball will host Family Day on Saturday when Coastal Georgia visits to take on the fifth-ranked Lady Flames at 2 p.m. followed by the seventh-ranked Lee men at 4 p.m.
Athletic director Larry Carpenter points out that all the college football on TV is over and it would be a great opportunity to bring the family out and enjoy watching two outstanding Lee basketball teams in action.
Carpenter says for $10 a family of four will be admitted, plus he’ll add pizza and a drink to help sweeten the deal. So for only $10 you can watch two college games and enjoy a late lunch or early dinner.
It is also a nice way to welcome the Flames and Lady Flames back to Walker Arena. It will mark the first home game for the women since Dec. 13 and the first appearance by the Flames since Dec. 6.
