Dorothy Norma Oliver, 92, of Chattanooga, passed away, Jan. 10, 2013 in Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Oliver; sisters: Stevie Martin, Jo Sloan, Mable Moore, Lillian Vandergriff, Julia Gibson; and grandson, Matthew Oliver.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Frank and Brinda Bromley, of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Mickey and Sue Ann Oliver, of Loganville, Ga.; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Margie Morrell, of San Antonio; and several nieces and nephews.
She was retired from Sears after 30-plus years of service. She taught Sunday School and was active in choir and visitation ministry of her church for many years. She was attending First Baptist Church of Cleveland.
Funeral is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 12, at 4 p.m following visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Chattanooga Funeral Home East Chapel. Her son, the Rev. Mickey Oliver, and her grandson, the Rev. Michael Liner, will be officiating.
Burial will be Monday in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
